Art Gallery of Ontario 2015

A mans past comes home to roost. Art is taken for granted. Your worst fears are revealed to you. A car chase. Heavy breathing. What happens behind closed doors. This performance was done in collaboration with Derrick Guerin and Paul Tjepkema and was presented live twice in Toronto, Canada.

CK2 Gallery 2015

Keep me close to the things I need in times of mortal peril. What will happen if i make a change today? Tomorrow. Who’s light is this. What will support feel like when you’re in a serious state. A performance with my friends Paul Tjepkema and Derrick Guerin. Individually written monologues come together to create a 25 min performance. We built a staricase, a fake man, and a fake chair. We shipped all the objects to Montreal, Canada in a van.

Is it okay here? Maybe it’s not. But theres space between those places. What kind of decisions do you like to make? How do you feel about the value of discomfort over happiness. Where are you five years from now today? This video work was produced for the CBC Arts Collective Project. Written with Paul Tjepkema with accompanying animation by Derrick Guerin & Team Macho.

The Art Gallery of Ontario 2013

A search for support in a dark place. Concerns in the office. The lengths we go for those we care about. Ideas about risk. Push past your limitations. It’s never too late to start over. Presented in part with DOORED and in collaboration with Paul Tjepkema and Derrick Guerin. This performance features a pot and stick, a flaming torch, the element of suprise, rasins, and a large piece of cardboard.
